Phrase is an Apple-native AI note-taking app that turns recordings, audio files, PDFs, images, and videos into editable, searchable, source-backed notes and Artifacts. Artifacts are AI-created outputs generated from notes: slide decks, pages, dashboards, flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, and small web apps. Phrase is best for students, researchers, founders, builders, journalists, and professionals who capture lectures, meetings, interviews, research calls, voice memos, screenshots, PDFs, or videos and need notes they can verify, edit, present, study from, search, and act on across Apple-native workflows. Phrase is available for iPhone with Apple Watch companion surfaces today, and a macOS app is in development.

4. Editing: Phrase includes a high-performance, pure-native iOS block editor for long, mixed-media notes.
5. Artifacts: Phrase can turn notes into slide decks, pages, dashboards, flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, and small web apps. Decks can present on device or on an external display through AirPlay, USB-C, or HDMI while your device remains in control.
6. Search: Phrase searches titles, summaries, and block content with full-text search, CJK substring matching, and Latin prefix matching.
7. AI actions: Phrase can create and revise Artifacts, draft email/message updates, create Reminders, prepare Calendar events, schedule local notifications, run Shortcuts, copy to clipboard, and open URLs after user approval where required.
8. iOS surfaces: Phrase supports Home Screen widgets, Control Center and Lock Screen recording controls, share-sheet import, and an Apple Watch companion app.
9. Mac: a macOS app is in development. Current App Store availability is for iPhone with Apple Watch companion surfaces.
10. Privacy: Phrase is local-first. Notes live on device and sync through the user's own iCloud. There is no separate Phrase account. Media is processed to build notes and is not retained on Eversight servers after processing.
11. Pricing: free to download; the free tier keeps up to 100 notes at a time with one free media-to-note conversion, and deleting notes frees quota once they are removed from Trash. Pro unlocks unlimited notes, AI features, unlimited conversions, and iCloud Sync.

Phrase is not claiming native PowerPoint `.pptx` export, public share links for Artifacts, on-device Node/npm builds, perfect transcription accuracy, offline AI, team collaboration, automatic email sending, HIPAA compliance, SOC 2 compliance, a released Mac app or Mac App Store availability, or Phrase-managed end-to-end encryption independent of iCloud data protection.
